The Association of the War Orphans
Finland went through two wars during 1939–1944. The Association of the War Orphans brings together people who lost their parents during the war, gives them peer support and supports their physical and psychological well-being, e.g. through rehabilitation. In the symbol, a wreath made of spruce twigs symbolizes the circle of care and the memory of the lost ones.
